Hello everyone.
I have majorally slipped off the OS wagon, so determined to get back to it in the new year.
My girls are at their dads and I've just been eating and drinking around me! Last night was mini kievs and waffles, but I could have gone to the chicken burger shop and it would have been cheaper, so it was kind of a takeaway.
Tonight is my last night of indulgence. Going out for a pizza at 8 with a friend who is also childless tonight. We are going to decide where to go after that, but to be honest, I'm kinda hoping she wants to go home after that. One cos I'm tired (and lazy) and two, I dread to think of the taxi cost home!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Hello everyone! Made American style pancakes for breakfast, so I'm quite popular this morning! DH has been for a run and is now taking DS16 to his girlfriends. We shall be staying in, watching films, then the Queen concert and fireworks.
Booked a lovely cottage in Cornwall for our holiday in July, it will be our 25 wedding anniversary that week. DH agreed immediately, I was very surprised, usually takes weeks of nagging to get him to even consider holidays.
My cooker hood stopped working last night, need DH to fix it, filters are in the dishwasher.0 -
Morning all,
Not so frosty here this morning have been out to feed the birds who were all waiting for me
DD just done boiled eggs and toast for brunch, then we might get ourselves out for another walk.
Dinner tonight will be cold meat with jacket spuds and coleslaw nice and simple OH and I will have a glass of something indoors, dd on the other hand will be out clubbing till the early hours ( I cant think of anything worse
)
Hope you all have good evenings xx0 -

Thank you for this, I do need to declutter before we move, maybe Facebook might work. Has anyone else tried this?- MSE Forum Achievements:

Lots of you decluttering,I've decluttered a bacon buttie, does that count?:D
DGD stayed over last night and Mummy has just picked her up.We had a nice game playing shopping with all her fake food and shopping basket, and Minniemouse bingo.Think she's here again tomorrow for a bit.DH and I are babysitting DGS tonight,he's sleeping over while Ds2 and DG go out.How times change eh,we stopped going out on NYE prob about 4 years ago, taxis were getting ridiculous .DS1 will be clubbing but will prob stay at his mates when they get back.
We went to As da last night looking for a bit of party snack type food for ourselves for tonight but it looked like a plague of locusts had been in,think DH will bring some pasties home instead,& got some nice steak tomorrow.
May I wish you all a Happy New Year in case dont get on later, hope 2015 brings contentment to you all xxx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Hello everyone.
Hope 2015 is a good one x
2014 has been ok tbh. Got youngest in his SN school and got his diagnosis.
I've got a little job as well. A midday in a high school. I was moaning in my youngest school while waiting to pick him up that I wouldn't be able to work as would need a job to revolve around school hours/holidays. One of the dad's is a midday supervisor at he high school, over heard me, told me to get an application form and that was that. Already will progress. Next week am doing a 3 day 1st aid course so will be an official 1st airer at the school which will get me a few more hours.
I really do need to get back into the OS ways again. It's mainly food. Need to menu plan again. And we've had too many takeaways. That's got to stop.
My wages are going straight into our savings account. It's only a small amount so no point it being absorbed into day to day living.
Can I use double cream in my cheese sauce? Am making fish pie and macaroni cheese for tea tonight . Fish pie for us and Mac cheese for the kids.
Nice to see you all again (well those of you I've got on fb are probably sick of me!)
Take care and don't drink too much tonight.
Hope all your pets are ok with the fireworks, will be making sure fatcat is indoors.
Love, hugs and spoons

I've used a couple of the selling pages on Facebook to sell baby stuff and it's worked quite well for me. I prefer it to eBay as it's all local, so people just pop round, give you the money and off they go again.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Afternoon All,
Well surprisingly OH did hoover and mop kitchen yesterday so lots of praise for that. And I got to have a nice bath whilst he made dinner. Everyones a winner!
I'm not really much of a NYE fan whereas OH is so a bit tricky in our house. Not been sleeping well of late so not sure i'll even be awake for the chimes!
Tonight will consist of washing (again) and a bit of cleaning and using up a freezer meal.
Wishing you all a peaceful or partyful NYE and looking forward to getting right back on that OS bandwagon next year!
Lou xBut I want a golden goose daddy and I want it right NOW!!!!!

Thought I'd just pop in to wish all my OS friends a happy and healthy New Year.
Aww, bless him. I hope it's not too bad for him.MrsLurcherwalker wrote: »Nothing planned for tonight other than being ready for the fireworks which I know will really upset the Dockling so I.m planning a night on the sofa to give DH a rest as much as I can.
I don't actually know how Ronnie feels about fireworks; he was with us for 4 days last year, and I don't recall him being worried, and it says nothing about fireworks on his info sheet, so hopefully no problems. We shall probably have the pc on to play Dragon Age Inquisition, which is quite noisy, in any case; and Ronnie's used to hearing that by now.:o
Mr LW has been told they're knocking off work at 15:00; it's also a dress-down day, so he's gone to work in jeans and t-shirt. I'm also told one of the chaps will be bringing in HM samosas - they sell them for charity - and he's going to get 4 and bring them home, so we'll have those later on.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

My DD is a great fan and is always selling outgrown children's clothes and toys on the Facebook swap/sell site.. Selling to local people is much easier than using ebay and having to post things, she says. Mind you, most of the money she makes gets used to buy things off there too!!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
