I am not disputing that Number 1 is not Nicky Henderson, but has he had a bad year? There is a clue under the picture.

There is a clue – the four people had 2014 that they probably want to forget. Not disastrous in the sense of career-ending calamity, but for professional or personal reasons, they’ll all be glad to see the back of 2014 and hope for a better 2015.

Each person represents a different sport, so if your guess features two people from one sport, you’re doing it wrong.

I'm thinking the woman could be Laura Robson as she has been injured since January.

Think you have nailed it with Laura Robson

So just number 1 then I think. Too wrinkly to be rugby, so id say definitely a horse owner or a darts player

its not Victoria Pendleton is it??

Well Victoria Pendleton retired in 2012, so no. Laura Robson is definitely a good candidate: eyes, nose and skin colour seem to match well.

Nicky Henderson trains jump racing's star horse Sprinter Sacre who has been out of action in 2014 missing Cheltenham, where he was almost certain to win.

I'm having doubts about it being Ronnie O. Yes, he broke his ankle (only 6 weeks ago though), but did that make it a bad year for him? He still won plenty!

I think 2 - Ronnie O'Sullivan could acually be Kevin Pietersen

He was sacked from England beginning of the year then brought out his book which caused a bit of controversy.
