    Hi All,
Can I join please? Just reading through and the 'skimming off the bank account balance' idea would work for me.
I'll be making the additional weekly payment to Next. I'll skim each Saturday so will begin today!
Off to update signature..........very excited! How sad :rotfl:
    Good luck to us all.
    Pay all your debt by Xmas 2023 - #39 £2,570.09 / £12,000.00 (21.4%)
  • Just checked bank account and there was £1.50 to skim off. Took my bank account down to a rounded figure. Felt a bit silly logging onto Next to pay off such a small amount but then what the hell. It's not as if anyone there will be looking at it, it's just automated. Next update Saturday 17/01/2015.
    Onwards and downwards
    Pay all your debt by Xmas 2023 - #39 £2,570.09 / £12,000.00 (21.4%)
  • My first week of the challenge and £15.60 paid off the CC.
£8 from no coffees (just 1 day where I was away from my coffee making equipment!)
£2 found running wild in the house
£5.60 from an old lottery ticket, which I'd not got round to checking

And more importantly, I've set up the CC as a payee off my spending account, so it's a doddle to pay each week - maybe it's just me, but I get put off by the silliest things. Having to go and find the card (as its a 0% card it stays in the drawer in my study) then the bother of the extra screens & security checks to set up a new payee .... I let it put me off, but it actually only takes 5 minutes, how silly is that? All done now for Lloyds and ready to make another 50 payments :D
I'll update the Lloyds total once the banking system has trundled through its systems and I actually see it on the other side :rotfl:

Click on the first green bar at the top of the page where it says "quick links" and a drop down box will appear. Then choose "edit signature" Xx

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Just came across this thread, I'd like to join - we purchased a caravan on 0% CC in September and are paying it off at £100 per month, making additional payments where possible. The current balance is £6,923.49. I think I'll choose Saturdays as my extra-payment day.

I have just checked my Quidco account and have £29.68 available for payment, so that's this week sorted! :T
    Extra Payment Every Week Challenge:
