Hi everyone,
I’m new to the MSE forums and would love to join in with this goal if possible
I just started a DMP with Stepchange this month and will be making payments of £188 a month to my creditors with them but I’d love to put some money aside in a savings account with the intention of either paying off my cards in full if I ever manage to get there before my projected DFD, or using the money in the account at the end of year to make an additional payment through Stepchange and help reduce my DFD, even if only by a month.
I’ve opened a specific savings account for this purpose, and popped £7.16 in there today. That was made up of ‘leftover’ money which I’d budgeted for other purposes the first two weeks of this month but didn’t use.
I’m hope I’ve waffled enough to be accepted to here and I feel sufficiently motivated having seen how well everyone else is progressing with this challenge.Extra Payment Every Week 2016 = £40.91
