Credit Card refunds (Section 75)

Hi,
I play golf at my local golf club and they appear to be in a bit of financial difficulties,- delays in paying the groundstaff, etc.
I pay my yearly green fees with my credit card and would like to know if I paid them this year in April, approximately £450 and they went bankrupt later in the year would I still be protected (Section 75 of the Credit Card) or is there a time limit to claim after the initial payment for this kind of transaction.
Any views would be appreciated.

I think the time limit is 6 years.

Thanks for your reply grumbler, This payment is yearly so that amount of a time limit would not be necessary. I was thinking if they went bankrupt after 3-6 months where would that leave me and a lot of other members who would like some guarantee that if they paid with a credit card they would get some of their money back. Thanks again

In fact the timer starts when the supplier fails to deliver, not when you make the payment.

That said, CCs hate s75. So, don't expect they pay easily should the worst happens.
