Can I open a new isa?

I have a Isa with Barclays I don't use it and it's got no money in it I have paid into it but that was a few months ago I have a account with Halifax and want to open a isa with them would I be able to?

Not if you've paid into your existing isa this tax year.
Are you aware that rates outside ISAs are far better for small amounts of money?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

How much do you want to pay into a Halifax ISA? It may not be worth your while.0
