I've just about finished doing my meal plan for this week, and I'm making a conscious effort to use up whatever I've got in the freezer or cupboards so here goes:

Sun - Venison Pie with Mash & Veg

Quesadillas are a Mexican dish consisting of tortilla wraps filled with cheese and then dry-fried in a pan to make the cheese melt. Sorry not an expert, think they can be customized quite a bit with the filling. Seen Jamie Oliver make them, so maybe do a search for a recipe?0

I cook our quesadillas on the pannini press so they toast both sides at once and I don't need any oil etc as they don't stick. You can put anything in them as long as there's a bit of grated cheese to help them stick. You don't need much filling. Our favourite is using up leftover chorizo & bean chilli, bit of cheese. I like a dollop of lite creme fraishe to cool the heat.

Have now done some of next weeks:
M - spaghetti bolognese & garlic flatbread
T - left overs for me, OH at work
W - Chicken curry, rice, naan bread
Th - shepherds pie
F - pulled pork & sweet potato hash
Not sure why but can only seem to plan 4/5 days!
Was meant to be going out Mon night but have said I will cook for my friends so that's a lot cheaper! Will cook the bolognese in the slow cooker so it's nice and easy!
Have been inspired by the cookery book challenge so Fri night I'm cooking something new and I have slow cooked pork and sweet potatoes that need using up. The pork has been in the freezer for ages and hasn't been used so this is a win win situation![STRIKE]CC1: £354.35 / £354.35[/STRIKE]
