Our Joints appear along side our sole accounts , same login details .

I just opened a second sole account. I had to log-out of internet banking as it wouldn't let me open it otherwise - and now I have 2 seperate logins since there was no option to merge with an existing user ID!!

Anyone else had to do it this way?
If I call TSB, presumably they will be able to merge the accounts to one user ID?

Did you input all your personal details exactly the same as on your first account?

I had to apply for my second account whilst logged out, but TSB just added the second account to my existing login and I could see both accounts online as soon as I logged back in.

    Yes, all the same details.
I had to enter my address manually both times, so I can only assume this might be the reason why they couldn't link it when setting up the second account and whilst logged out?

I just called TSB, and it appears I should be able to link the seperate accounts and internet banking ID's, but the department that deals with this are now closed! I will try again tomorrow.

Can anyone tell me how to open the joint classic plus account? I went through online banking and there is no option for a joint account, unless I'm missing it? I found a link outside online banking but it is only for the classic not classic plus.

I could only do mine in branch and via phone with both of us present .
