Thinking of getting Fire HD 6 but do I pay the extra £10 to not get the " without special offers " which I think maybe pop up adverts also I will purchase from Argos or Tesco for £79 in store so will not have the option to pay the extra £10 to opt out of special offers which you can do If you buy on Amazons website also are the special offers an annoying thing ie do they pop up when surfing the web or watching BBC iplayer.

The special offers are just adverts that appear on the lock screen of the Kindle - they replace the random photos that would normally appear there when the Kindle isn't in use, there are no pop-ups or anything that interferes with normal usage.
I bought my HD6 from Currys, and it didn't have adverts for a couple of months, but recently they have started appearing - I'm assuming triggered by a software update - but they don't bother me really, certainly not enough to pay an extra £10.0
