My Task Bar Has Gone All Fat!!!

hi please help me its driving me nuts!!! and i know it will be really simple to fix.

my task bar at the bottom has gone all fat and weird!!!! and i dont like it i want teh nice narrow one that i had before.

i dont know what i did to make it go fat i must of clicked something

please help i have tried everything and its driving me nuts :mad:

edited to say when i get rid of quick launch it goes small and thin again but when i put quick launch back on it goes fat again

move cursor down until you get double headed arrow and shrink task bar.

Hello D, how are ya?

Hover over the top of the taskbar til you get a vertical double-ended arrow then hold the left mouse button down and drag down til it's the size you want. Then right-click it and select 'lock the taskbar' to stop you doing it again

it wont let me do that whilst quick launch is on the task bar

i always had quick launch on before so i dont know why it has started doing this.

i have tried doing that hun but for some reason quick launch stops me doing it damn pcs drive me bloody nuts :mad: :rotfl:

o hun i have unlocked it. it is thin now, but with no quick launch as soon as i tick qui launch it goes to double the size and you cant change it with teh arrow thing.

I've just put my taskbar into the same situation as yours Then I did this - put the quick launch back on, either side of the icons there's what look like little dots (sorry - don't know the techie name lol). Hover over the ones on the right til you get a horizontal arrow then drag it to the right till all your icons are showing on the bar. Then lock the taskbar.
