Faulty Designer Bag

  • If the item is faulty then the SOGA gives them three options:

    Repair
    Replace
    Refund

A credit note does not count as a refund and whilst you are free to accept if you want to you can reject it and force them to give you one of your statutory resolutions.

    Thanks thats good to know,

They've offered me a full refund (which I would prefer) However They have said I have to do this in person, the refund cannot be done remotely, via the internet, or by cheque.

Any ideas where I stand on this? Does this count as them fulfilling their obligations even though it is (very) inconvenient to me?

    Thanks in advance :)

100 miles = 1.5 hours approx, each way, depending on the price of the bag, I would go there, get the refund done, and forget about it, bank the money and buy a cheaper bag if you still need one, end of the stress for you.
