Talking of things Swedish, I told Sam the Bald Eagle about that sketch from Not The Nine O Clock News about Swedish lessons.
(Scene: a chemist shop. Customer goes in.
Shopkeeper: Good morning (heavily accented, teach-yourself-Swedish style)
Customer: I want to buy some deodorant.
Shopkeeper: Certainly. Ball or aerosol?
Customer: Neither. I want it for my armpits.)
Sam is now practising it for his comedy spot tonight. What have I done???
I don't remember that one....I do remember the John MacEnroe sketch (I did not slurp my orange juice!) and the 'I Like Trucking' one.And the Janet Street-Porter interview with Billy Connolly. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I wouldn't worry about The Bald Eagle.According to Hubert,he's in great demand as an after dinner speaker.
Barman,can I have a snowball please!
Oh dear,I see that Hubert has just requested that The Good Ole Boys play a tango....and yes,Agent Mankini, you're his partner! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I say, marmite, the Snow Ball seems to be a great success. Look at how glamorous the NSD gang are in their evening outfits and jewellery! Even, dare I say it, Igor's finger buffet looks edible! And The Good Ole Boys are behaving like perfect gentlemen for a change. Time for the sing along, I think......One life - your life - live it!0

I'm feeling a bit fragile as I literally fell out of bed this morning, sent a glass flying and somehow managed to break a wall socket, which also cushioned the landing.
Fortuanately, the only thing dented was my pride.
