    :hello: Hi there all xxx

Wow!! some amazing figures coming in; Well done everyone :j

Another one under the belt for Friday bringing me up to 18 :D. I am going to try to spend nothing tomorrow ad get shopping and stuff done on Sunday instead; the shops will be a bit quieter then too I hope. I really must go right through the freezer before I go so that I don't get anything I don't need as sometimes that happens and I end up with no room for something I DO need.........which I have usually forgotten to put on my list anyway. :o. I am low on cat food too so need to get that in for the month while I'm out. I will need to stock up on electric and petrol but may do that on Monday as I know that will be a spendy day too.

I'm a bit worried about one of my windscreen wipers though as since it snowed the other day the one on the passenger side doesn't seem to be working :(. I shall have a fiddle with it in the morning and if it still seems frozen in place can get a mate to look at it on Sunday hopefully :)

Okies, keep warm everyone, see you tomorrow xxx

    :hello:

not sure what car you have but I had a problem with a wiper on my old fiesta. Turns out I'd accidently flicked IT on when frosty and frozen to the screen, and the pulling motion loosened the nut at the end of the wiper arm. A quick tighten with a spanner to reconnect it properly again and it was fine.

    Hi all

Snagged a final NSD, so I did it 15/15 :D
  • Wow,the last night of January is here already. Our intrepid cruise ship limps slowly into Aberdeen harbour and docks.

The gang grab their bags and race down the gangplank, eager to be back on land. There's Igor, battered suitcase in hand, eyebrows knitted in concentration as he slowly shuffles towards The Tardis.Hubert flouncing about hysterically;he can't wait to catch up on all the episodes of CBB that he missed. The mysterious lady who is called Nargle teeters off in her high heels.A bit laden down as she has a polar bear tied to her back...don't ask...

They all hop into The Tardis,to be magically whisked off to kermit2601's house, where preparations are underway for a party! :j:j

Get those disco balls out and get ready for some flat Babysham and a mountain of cheesy Wotsits..... :D

OK,who wants to carry on?I'm not very good at this.... :o
  • didnt manage to get another nsd and needed petrol yesterday and bought some vitamins today online... Off to febs thread with the hope of 10 NSD next month

Knit Witch takes a look at Igor's selections for the catering, shudders, and does a quick fly by M$S and W*itrose to get decent food and drinks!

Meanwhile lots of '80's music is downloaded onto an MP3 player ready for later

Hubert! What have you done with my polar bear?

'sokay! There was lots of snow and ice in the back garden so the Polar Bear wandered out there, seems to be quite happy with a washing up bowl filled with cider and a platter of anchovy paste sarnies!
