Does anybody have experience with 3 kids seats on the back seat?
We have a 6 yr old and a 4 yr old and now 1 month old, at the moment we have a focus and the two child's seats just fit with enough room for the baby carrier.
When our baby is too big and needs a child seat I don't think it will fit in the Ford Focus.
Are there any 5 seater car that you can fit 3 kids seats on the back seat? I don't want to go for a bigger than 5 seater if I can help it.

we couldn't find one, you basically need three proper size seats across the rear which makes it a much wider car - at this width sliding doors are a great asset as we find often just fit into parking spaces and would not be able to get kid strapped in with normal doors
We went for eurovan2 (fiat uylesee, peugeot 807, citroen C8) as in our price range - beware of electircal problems we leave the back row of seats out most of the time leaving a huge boot to swallow pushcahirs, bikes scooters etc but nice to be able to drop seats back in for additional friends/grandparents
We did hear good reports about volvoXC90 but too pricey for us and no sliding doors
Friend have a seat ahlambra which is similar size with sliding doors, others have gone full van route vw caravanele, merc vito, and hyundai i8000 -
When your third needs a child seat won't your eldest be big enough not to need one?0

We have a Renault Scenic and fit 3 child seats in. We had an isofix baby seat and 2 toddler seats and now have 3 toddler seats. We found it was on of the only ones and we tried a few. We took the seats with us when trying cars. A chore I know but we had to be sure. Others that we considered were the Picasso and the Toyota corolla Verso but the verso boot was tiny.
With the Scenic we took 3 kids under 5, a pushchair, a travel cot and 2 suitcases and had plenty of room.0 -
Focus C-Max or just C-Max on later cars, The middle seat can be positioned slighty forward or rearward to the outer 2 giving more room.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Son had a similar problem and bought a Honda Frv. Really works for him and boot is big enough for pushchair with everyone in the car.0

You only need a booster seat for your 4 year old and 6 year old children and these fit in normal sized cars even with a full sized baby seat. We've had this set up in a zafira and old shape scenic. I wouldn't go spending extra money on a van sized car as the running costs can be horrendous. I know this from personal experience.0

We fit three child seats across the back row in our 2011 Honda CR-V. It was a squeeze but I was happy it was safe.
We did this with a booster on one side, a Maxi Cosi base (seat belted) in the middle and another booster on the other side. We then replaced the base with a car seat when the youngest got too big for the Maxi Cosi.
I can check on the exact details if required.
[Irrelevant add on: We've just got rid of that and bought a 2011 Seat Alhambra as this is a wider car and provides a bit more room and it's a 7 seater so we can carry extra friends/family]0 -
Renault scenic, not overly wide and very cheap to purchase, my sister wouldn't upgrade her car so she has a four year old in a booster, very worrying seeing her sliding around in it, she most definitely would not remain in it during a crash.0
