So, correct me if I'm wrong but it looks as though we now have two options with the apps:
1) do not update them which keeps the favourites but means we can only earn 10 swagbucks per app
2) update them which loses the favourites but means we have the chance of earning 'bonus swagbucks' on top of the 10 per app
Hmmmm, not sure I am happy with either option!!
Why can't swagbucks just leave things how they were!?0 -
I just let my sportly run for over an hour and didn't earn any bonus points! Its rubbish0

I've just got 50SBs back and I know I qualified for the full 150!Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0 -
I still keep my old apps and I won't update until:
1) they reintroduce favourites, and
2) They don't clearly explain how the bonuses work. How many more rounds do you have to go through to get points and how many?
I can see that the change could potentially turn the apps into passive income, but the situation is not mature yet.
I only run SBTV now and then I move to Perk Pop Quiz, which, too, is giving me headaches.

by Team Swagbucks on Tue, June 30th, 2015 at 5:02 pm
We are excited to announce a significant change to our Yowgo Apps (EnternainNow, MovieCli.ps, Lifestylz.tv, Sportly.tv, Indymusic.tv)
Starting July 1st, you will be able to earn even more SB in the form of bonus rounds. Randomized and based on one’s activity, these SB bonus rounds have could enable you to earn way beyond the usual daily limit. And there are no limits to how many bonus rounds you can receive in one day!
In addition to this new exciting opportunity we will also be adding two new Yowgo apps to the iOS store, Indymusic.tv & Moviecli.ps
Sometime in the month of July we will also be reintroducing “favorites” to all Android versions and, of course, continue to add better and more exciting content across the board.
To accommodate these benefits, we will no longer be able to offer a daily limit amount of 18 SB for Yowgo apps. The new daily limit you can earn will be reduced to 10 SB. By making these changes we can now reward more active Yowgo users with ways to earn way beyond the old 18 SB minimum.
We want to explicitly point out that these changes in no way affect the way you earn SB for watching videos on any of our Yowgo apps. Nor do they affect how many SB you can earn anywhere else on the site.
What these changes do affect, however, is the overall bang for your SB, which we believe benefit you in 2 main ways
1. There is no limit to the amount bonus rounds you could receive in a day.
2. The total number of bonus rounds could easily earn you way beyond the old 18 SB minimum.
We understand that change is sometimes an unwelcome guest. And no matter what we say, some of you will not be in favor of these new bonus round possibilities. We hear you. We can also assure you that these changes were made only after surveying and speaking directly with thousands of you regarding the way you would like earn SB for watching videos on your phone.

Thanks for this, but they all were updated this morning on my phone and now I can't add favourites.
What should I do to stop them updating?
Thanks in advance.
If you have an Alcatel One Touch, install the Smart Suite program on your PC and you can backup all your apps from there. You can also manually back up the whole phone, but it's more complicated and requires advanced knowledge of the command line, but I've done it.0 -

A quote from the Swagbucks statement ' Sometime in the month of July we will also be reintroducing “favorites” to all Android versions'
so my advice if you are running the Apps on Android is Don't update until the new app has been released with favourites.
From my experience over the last few weeks is you will be lucky if you get 4SB bonus in a week!0 -

Same here. I'm becoming quite unimpressed with swags after initially being very happy. I only talked it up yesterday! I'm usually very supportive of change and give it a fair run, but this latest change seems a bit underhanded. I can't help feeling like its an overly blatant attempt to 'herd' their many loyal users to earn in a way that's clearly more profitable to swags.
I'm starting to understand the views of those that have been using swags longer and mention this type of frustrating change occurs repeatedly. Disheartening when people put in a fair amount of effort for quite little in the first place. Let's face it, most do it because they need to rather than want to.
Sorry for sounding so negative folks....maybe I just got out on the wrong side this morning!£10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240 -
Just ordered a gift card, and only received 75 SB rebate. I knew that I had completed sufficient surveys in the required time-frame, DQs and Answered, so have checked using the date range and 'answer' in My SBs, and indeed, I exceeded every day. I even waited until after 8pm on the Monday because there was such confusion on the start time for the UK.
Ticket going, not a happy bunny.0 -
