I've just had a reply to a Support query I logged last week about the SBTV app. It was from Anthony B., the very same agent who told another user that it was fine to use it in the UK. This time, he's stated it is NOT available for UK users and that Sport.ly is available instead. I've replied pointing this discrepency out and asking for urgent clarification, but just letting people know. I did rather expect this but not from the very same agent who gave a yes before!!

Anthony B. has replied again, stating that when he said it was OK, that was a misunderstanding which he clarified with the user in question and that we are NOT allowed to access SBTV in the UK. He reiterated we had Sport.ly instead. :(

I don't think they know what they are talking about. When I did SBTV today I must of had 10 adverts and 1 mentioned a London Casino. I doubt this would be for a small town in Ohio.

I thought I'd seen UK ads today but couldn't be sure - I'll go back again and raise that...

Done that. In the meantime he sent me a link to the October 2014 blog post with the various apps listed. I have pointed out that this change happened last week - we knew we couldn't use it before, but this appearance is new. And I agree the UK ads thing seems odd if it's North America only.

I had the same reply saying that it isn't available in the UK but we have Sport.ly instead which isn't working since Android Jelly Bean update.

I'm wondering if he's getting confused with EntertaiNOW TV Mobile as this app can't be used?

Maybe there should be a notice on Swagbucks to which apps can be used in which country as information seems to be misleading. They should put out an official response like they did about the discount gift cards.

I was the other user. On checking my email, I have received a further communication from Anthony B timed at 8.26pm tonight, apologizing for his earlier mistake. Obviously sent as a result of your discussion with him. Pity, but I have had a few days of the extra SBs so can't complain.
