Hi all
I bought a jacket online through a .co.uk website on 14.12.2014, paid through my Mastercard and the value stated on the website was £129.63
I didn't receive a confirmation email which raised suspicion and when the payment processed onto my credit card online statement, it was a Hong Kong company and the value charged was £143.18
I rang my credit card company / bank and the call centre operator mentioned that he recognised the company as having a history of counterfeit transactions (I'm not sure whether he was meant to tell me this or not!) but there was nothing they could do until the transaction was completed. They have since raised the issue as a 'Goods Not Received' issue, but I did actually receive the fake goods today.
I just wanted to know if anyone knows what I should do now?
I have paid £143.18 when the original price stated to me was £129.63, the company have sent me goods but they are counterfeit and I have no return address to send the items back to Hong Kong.
Help me please!

If the they have already charged back as non receipt of goods, then you will need to wait the 45 days to see if the merchant rejects the claim. They could reject the claim stating that they have been delivered. If that's the case then you could look to continue the case on the grounds that the goods were counterfeit. You would likely need to prove this by getting an independent report confirming they were counterfeit. You won't need to return the goods.Debt free by XMAS 2015 #027Barclaycard: £0.00Divorce: £0.00 :jKitchen: £0.00 :j0

If you use the Firefox web browser; I suggest a small add-on called Flagfox which displays where a website is located.
Most UK websites with be based in the UK, Ireland, rest of Europe or the USA.
It's not always 100% but if the country flag is something exotic then it can be a good pointer. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Where its located? As in the server? That probably wont point to where the seller is though.
