Won POPLA appeal but still getting debt recovery letters

Options
Hi,

I have read through newbie and other sections but couldn't find thread similar to my case.

I have won POPLA appeal but I still keep getting debt related letters from Debt recovery plus and Zenith.

I was getting these letters even before POPLA decision and I complained to BPA who investigated and said it was admin error and I will not get any more letters.

I want these letters to stop and to teach them a lesson.

Any ideas?

    complain again to the BPA

you could send the DC a copy of the winning popla appeal, telling them to stop harassing you or you will file a counter claim against them in the SCC

    (ie:- refer back to creditor)

    or just ignore them completely

Back again to the BPA, copy the correspondence you've subsequently received, plus a copy of the BPA's confirmation that these would stop.

DRP are members of the BPA so ask the BPA to take disciplinary action against them.

Lateral thinking ... are these DRP letters in respect of the PCN you've won at POPLA? Or are they possibly in respect of an old(er) PCN?

    Thanks for all the replies

I have checked all of the letters are regarding same PCN

The last letter I checked is from Small claim solicitors threatening taking me to court!

As well as complaining to the BPA, ask the Small Claims Solicitors to issue you with a compliant Letter Before Action to start the process of pursuing this already cancelled PCN through the Small Claims Court and you will allow the Judge to hand them back their sorry ar5eholes as a direct result of their folly in mindlessly going forward with this.

Oh, and there's also the matter of your considerable expenses in researching and defending this claim!

  • Ignore them until they send court papers, it's their paper and stamps they are wasting.

So? Google them and the word 'parking' to get results in context. Boring junk mail, seen it before; tedious rubbish not worthy of an exclamation mark.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If it were me I would send them a letter before action spelling out quite clearly you owe them nothing, any further letters sent to you will be counted as Harassment and you will see them in county court for Harassment if they so wish.

    Thanks to all of you.

I have sent them a letter before action email and got a reply in 30 mins saying my case has been closed and I will not receive any letters.
