When is a sale not a sale?

  • Last year it cost us £93 to renew our premium passes for a family of four, this year we have been a supposedly discounted price of £119.
This represent an increase of 28% which I think is outrageous especially as it's being advertised as a discount. The number of attractions remain the same and there are no significant new benefits. I am calling on Merlin Pass holders not to renew until they reduce prices to last years levels with perhaps a small increase (3% max) for inflation.
Please spread the word especially if you or friends and family have Merlin Passes.

The other day I saw the same TV that people fought for on Black Friday at pretty much the same price at Tesco.

It was the same at Asda, they has on Black Friday a Polaroid 7" Tablet £79. This item was just brought in for the BF event ( they never called it a sale) and people went mad for it.

but Argos have an Acer 7" tablet with better specs. at the normal price of £79.95, so what was the bargain at Asda. simply NON
  • I agree Kingcat.
I waited until the sale to renew my sons and the price has gone up so I haven't renewed. Not sure how they justify it as a sale.
