Pandora bracelet dropped off!

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help or has been in the same situation.

I bought a Pandora bracelet with charms a few weeks ago at Manchester Airport. I only wore the bracelet 3 or 4 times and when out it fell off and was never seen again.

I have contacted Pandora and they do not cover the loss.

However, clearly my bracelet was faulty or there is a known fault with the bracelets for this to happen so soon when it was not even heavy.

Is there anything that can be done to get a refund or replacement?

And does anyone know if this is common before I get another?

You might be able to claim on insurance of some kind - usually home insurance.

I don't see why pandora should cover your loss when it might have caught or something, etc.

The clasp may not have beenfastened properly or it may have been faulty but if you don't have the bracelet you can't prove one way or the other.

Loss would need to be covered by an insurance policy covering the bracelet or included in house contents insurance.

As the bracelet is lost there is no way of proving it is faulty, and as the bracelets are very popular it would not appear to be a common problem.

You can purchase a safety chain for them, or you could try the bangle style as this fits more snuggly and would be less likely to fall off should the clasp come undone.
  • Thank you for your help. I will get another and get the safety chain and hope this doesn't happen again.
