G Paws cat tracker

Hi has anyone used one of these? my daughter got us one for Christmas so we can keep tabs on our cats travels . Have charged it and taken it out for a test walk as recommended but when I connected it to the computer the files that came up were not of our cat or our street? any help hints or advice would be much appreciated .

I'd like to come up with an exotic and interesting explanation, but the boring truth is it's probably a previous customer return that hasn't been restored to factory "clean" state.
  • your cat is a secret double agent cat, living a secret life under a false identity

OK my explanation's not purrfect, but better than the one above :D

Some friends have spent a small fortune on cat tracking devices, only to find the cat has removed them within a few days.

  • Right it appears they test them before they sell them so that explains why that data was on there ....took it out for a long walk today and when I came back it had tracked where I had been ...it took a lot longer for the signal to be picked up tho than the fifteen minuets it says on instructions more like 30+ ...going to attach it to my cats collar and see where he goes tonight ...and yep my only worry is he will come back without it... he has lost a few collars in the past ...fingers crossed.
