A few queries raised seem to be connected to the chimney ... That and the cladding. Both are individual and specific areas. Much better than if there was a list of items in all different parts of the house.0

For a house of that age you'll need to make provision for a maintenance budget. Houses are like cars. Over time a money pit.0 -

Of course. But from the buyers point of view they were not aware of the issues when they made their offer so it's perfectly reasonable to reduce the offer based on the new information.0 -

For a lot of things I would suggest the seller might also not have been aware. They might have been living there without any problems for years and had no idea anything was out of order.0
