You think they actually have the prize to send out? You think ITV have a garage full of cash

Not a garage full, but unlike most physical prizes cash is one thing they certainly don't need to pass details on to a third party. :)

(Although channel 4 did and may still do, have an agency handle even cash winners)

So I understand, hence why the snipping tool is so useful.

It's the sniping tool I'm trying to ignore.
  • But their terms clearly state they might

Bauer Media at section 5.3 state that the prizes are sent by the prize provider and not them

This should again cause a red flag for some considering your data is shared with a third party? Or maybe this is OK? You think? Also note they take no responsibility for the condition of the item you receive as that has come up in conversation this last week.

and this has what to do with ITV handling their own cash prizes?

Don't know if it was the Gadget show or one on ITV, the prizes were new but had been opened for display/filming purposes and were stored prior to dispatch, they filled a pretty good sized lorry and could have filled a garage if they had chosen to store them in one.
  • This thread is not about ITV. Weirdly you are not the only person in this thread. Please do not take anything personally.

That was included so others could see that details are often transferred to 3rd parties by what many perceive as rather reputable companies. This was flagged, as a reason to believe Sprinkle were somehow "selling" your information, by someone earlier. Rich stated a 3rd party would be involved when someone won a prize. I shared this info so people could see this is not in any way unusual practice.

Fair enough, I took it as a reply to this post
