Best deal was this set, bought in the Boots 50% sale last year. Original RRP £12, £6 in sale and paid for with an old gift card that needed using up so actually paid £0.

Several people may have received them this year..

Overall savings on all gifts this year was 27% off RRP.
  • I bought my son a case for his playstation vita from Cex it was 75p second hand,a brill stocking filler that protects his console from accidental damage thus saving me money in the long run!
  • Pet bed from Dunelm. £19.99 with 30% off.
    Came to £13.99.
It stated small on the bed but it is perfect for my chubby French Bulldog (the photo shows his happy face :)

My best Christmas bargain was through Tesco clubcard boost, I bought my son a Hudl2 & Case, changed up £60 in vouchers which they x 2 and paid the remaining balance of £11! Today I nosed around the Tesco sale and purchased 6 rolls of wrapping paper for next year at £1 a roll, bought my son a Christmas onesie for next year reduced from £13 to £6 and socks reduced from £6 for 3 pairs to only £3. The total should have cost £172 and I only paid £26!
    Win Totals 2013 £3331 / 2014 £4815 / 2015 £3067 / 2016 £5617 / 2017-2023 £4106 / 2024 £2500 OVER £23K!!

I was in Sainsburys looking at the toys and noticed people grabbing things from the shelf in front of me so I grabbed the last box and it was a Science Museum Space ball. It was originally £20.00, then £13.00, then £6.00 and I paid £2.00! So I saved 90%!

I bought myself a Topshop coat from this season for £3!

I was in the local PDSA and came across a gorgeous green woolen knee length coat with gold buttons (total dream) and then saw the price and they were asking £24.

I looked it over again and noticed a rip in the lining and also that the previous owner had torn the shoulder. So I took it to the til ready to pay for it, thinking maybe I could fix it, no big deal, and showed them the damage. The woman behind the til took it away. I asked where it was as I still wanted to buy it, then the French manager came back out with it and said I could have it for £3. I was so chuffed. Took it home, got out my needle and thread, fixed up my coat, and now I've spent my Christmas all snuggly and warm.
