I'm curious to know why 2 people thanked this post which merely asked a question.

I thanked it, as I routinely thank posts that I see here. I like people with manners, who say please and/or thank you.

A hit of the thanks button costs nothing but 1/2 a second and I like to do it.

I'm curious as to why mods don't delete replies to posts which aren't relevant to the content of the post and are just posted to boost the poster's post count (post post post post post).

But surely that destroys the point of the "thanks system", which is to acknowledge a post which is useful, informative or entertaining.

I say thanks to posts I read, enjoy, to welcome people, to be inclusive. For numerous reasons. If that annoys you then I'm sorry but THANKS for your input. :rotfl:

I thank people sometimes if they've asked a question, and i think to myself YES, i'd like to know the answer to that.

Going back to your question, you've posted thois in the Boost Your Income, well if you just scroll through all the old threads in that section, see if anything takes your fancy.
