Chinese script on laptop

Recently my laptop has started showing Chinese script at the top of the screen. It gradually grows until it covers all my tabs, and sometimes starts to flash.
I have run McAfee and it says there are no problems. I am running the dreadful Windows 8, is this anything to do with it ?

Try fixing the current problem with Malwarebytes (free)

After that, replace the McAfee with BitDefender, Avast or Avira, all free.0
