Hi I have 3 DC and none of them have any bank accounts - just piggy banks at home. Would like to open up accounts for them and put in their child benefit - any ideas which is the easiest bank to open kids accounts with? Had a look online and they seem to need you to come in and open them - anyone got any experience of online kids accounts please?
thank you

Extremely unlikely I think. How is the bank supposed to check that the child exists?plzhelpmesave! wrote: »...Had a look online and they seem to need you to come in and open them - anyone got any experience of online kids accounts please?0 -
A select few can also be applied for online or on the phone or by post but that doesn't mean you won't have to present proof of the existence of the child in person in a Branch.

Thanks - good point about identity checking, really didn't think about that side of things!
Will have a look at moneyfacts now :-)0
