Something else that I started a few months back that I thought had died, but now come back again!

The property I own in Portsmouth has residents parking on the estate, maintained by a PPC (actually this is useful because it is right opposite a major shopping and leisure centre and everybody else would park there if they thought they would get it free!).

My wife got two parking tickets from the now sacked parking company (they have been replaced). Having contacted the Management company who contacted the PPC and had them cancelled.

Now we have had letters from the PPC saying this amount is overdue. The letter is address as 'Notice to Driver'.

I quoted the name of the person that had dealt with it at the PPC.

I then referred to the FCN they had issued. I said that on both o[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]c[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]casions the car was stationary and therefore no driver was involved. and even if it ha[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]d been driven[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] driving offences are not their responsibility, [/FONT] [FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]they[/FONT] would not have any indication as to who the driver was.

[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]I have said if they don[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]'t agree, to send me a POPLA code. I cannot see how they can possibly challenge this[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif], even without the Manage[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]ment company previously arranging for them to be cancelled.[/FONT][/FONT][/FONT][/FONT]
