Raising Nationwide Credit Limit

Hi,

I got a Nationwide Classic Visa card in July 2006 shortly before I started 3rd year at Uni with a credit limit of £1800.

I then had it raised to £2300 in November 2006 because I was nearing the max on it on taxi costs (I'm re-imbursed later so I can pay it off, and was within the 9 months interest free period so was not incurring charges).

Anyway I tried the online 'Increase limit' option in May but got a message saying it couldn't be raised. Can I do this now and would it work? I have always paid off my bill on time, once I was 2 days late because of a different billing date following my card being hijacked.

Thanks.

H.
