    hello active gary

itasoftware is absolutely invaluable for your search.
A quick look has found direct flights for £579 flying with Delta on the Wed 7th Jan and returning on Wed 14th

Do you mean Jan 15 or Jan 16
If Jan16, I'm not sure how much availabily will be shown - IIRC, most airlines seem to work on 330ish days ahead.

    happy hunting
  • The last time I looked the cheapest flight was with Icelandair but via Iceland - however, this was booking many months in advance, and the cheapest classes will definitely have sold out if you are talking about Jan 2015. An indirect flight with Delta/AA etc. will probably be your best bet in that case.

  • Many thanks for your replies its Jan 2015 Departure as required and an indirect flight looks the cheapest option in this case for our travel at short notice.

On the dates that I had a quick look at, flying direct only cost another £20 and was a six hour shorter trip. That's a lot of potential aggro saved for £20 !!!!!!!

But that was the date that I looked at - there may be bargain indirect flights on other days:D
