Euro Account

Hi,
I'm looking for a Business Euro account that can send (online) and receive wires from the Euro zone with minimal/no fees.
I would then need to move these funds over to the UK and transfer into Sterling and vice versa.
All the banks in the UK charge a fortune for this service so I was thinking maybe Ireland or Holland?
Anyone in a similar situation and managed to find a solution?
Thanks
MC

We were in a similar situation, we had a Euro account however like you we found that there was a monthly charge, no interest, not available with online banking, different call centre (not too hot), high charges for most transactions.
Solution was to ask our customers to pay by CHAPs in GBP, as they are multinationals they have accounts in most currencies in most countries anyway so it was no big deal for them.
Luckily they are happy to do this, hope you find as good a solution.
Our business banking manager totally agreed with us at the time and said the systems were still quite archaic and totally behind the times.0
