hey all
bought hubby one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008PABFX8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
he had it on earlier moving some photos to it when one of the kids caught it and unplugged it during the transfer
now when i plug it in nothing happens and it doesnt show up in the computer bit (from the folders bit)
im not greatly techie but can follow instructions to the letter
can anyone help?????

Have you tried it on a different USB port?0

Did it fall ? Have you tried restarting the same computer or try it in another. It may just have a screwed file table and a file system check may solve this, but I note you say he was moving (bad) or was he copying ?0

yes ive tried it on a different port also tried the ports with my webcam and they worked fine
he was copying photos so we had a backup of them
how do i do a file system check?The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50
