Lloyds credit card

Hi,

I have had my Lloyds Bank classic credit card since last March and do keep it in excellent shape.

If you have a Lloyds credit card, how often or not do they raise credit limits, as I have had one offered last spring?

Just curious.

Impossible to say. It's a mainstream card so won't automatically increase limits at certain intervals like a sub prime card.

You can always ask them for a credit limit increase if you feel it warranted. The worst thing that will do is refuse although they make a credit search on you.

I have had my Lloyds CC for a long number of years. I must admit I do not use it very often, they have just written to me to say they are increasing my limit by £500.

I have just done a BT from another card at 0% for 12 months. It will be cleared long before then, maybe they think I can be encouraged to spend some money as they have increased the limit. No chance.

Like Deleted_User above me Lloyds Bank have also written to me recently offering me a credit limit increase of £500 from my next statement date in January.

I've held my Lloyds Bank Choice Rewards Duo account since July 2014 here.

If you service your account online it is possible to request a limit increase that way.

We review credit limits on a monthly basis to ensure they're appropriate. As such, an increase to the limit may happen from time to time, but there's no specific frequency for that.
