Central heating not turning off

Hi all
I've an oil fired external boiler which provides heated water for my central heating system. We've got a Honeywell Sundial RF2 pack to control the heating side of it. The problem we have is that the system doesn't seem to recognise the set temperature on the DT92E wireless thermostat .
In enquiry mode on the ST9420C I can see the thermostat Room Temp of what ever the temperature is of the room that the thermostat is in. However the Room Set shows 27.0, no matter what we've actually set the thermostat to. When the heating comes on we can end up with a boiling hot house. I'm guessing this must be some sort of system default but can't see any setting which would appear to be linked to it.
The thermostat has had fresh batteries in it, and I can see the wireless icon showing up so it's obviously in communication with the ST9420C.
It's very frustrating as we've now got a new born baby in the house and would like to keep it a constant temperature. Does anyone have any ideas? It was installed about two years ago, but it's only now that we've started wanting it running all of the time.
Thanks in advance

Did it ever work or is this a recent problem.
IE, failed programmer or ancilliary, or incorrectly wired?I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
We think it did used to work (the problem is we've not had that much call for heating, but I do have vague memories of my mother in law changing it).0

Ok then, not that many oiled fired specialists on here then I guess.
You need a local company to come take a look if it's only 2 years old, warranty?, you need to check that out too.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

As far as I can tell it's not an issue with the boiler, it's the controller not updating with the set temperature from the thermostat. I was hoping not to involve the plumber, but shall see what he says.0

Have you by any chance done what my husband did the other day ?
He picked up the remote and hadn't realised that he pressed the frost button. This meant that the boiler ignored the programmed settings until the frost icon was switched off.0
