Gemini GEMQ1002 Tablet Frozen

My mum's Gemini GEMQ1002 is frozen on the start up screen. It won't go beyond it, so I can't do anything.
I've looked at the instructions for resetting back to factory settings and downloaded the PAD Product Tool, however my laptop won't recognise the tablet, so I can't flash it.
I have tried the Modaco fourms, but no has answer my thread on there.
Any suggestions?

Modaco does this mean its a modified tablet ??As you are also talking about flashing .
As its not one of the well known brands you may have difficulty but use Google search may find a forum besides Pauls .
Factory reset is normal a question of holding down buttons .
Laptop cannot find means you have not installed the products drivers on your laptop .0 -
Modaco seems to be the only forum that discusses this brand. I was trying to set it back to factory default, there is only 3 buttons on it, on/off, volume up and volume down.
I have tried their website, which recommends this - https://geminidevices.zendesk.com/entries/27075501-Gemini-Q10-GEMQ1002-10-1-Tablet-ROM-Flashing-Instructions-Factory-Reset
It says connect to laptop while holding volume up button, but nothing happens.0 -
It also says - You can find this driver by navigating to C:\Program Files (x86)\PAD Product Tool(Developer Edition) 1.02\Driver\ or a similar directory if you installed the Pad Product Tool elsewhere. You may have to open the Device Manager to install the driver manually. This can be done by right-clicking the Unknown device, selecting Update Driver Software
But when I go to device manager I have no unknown devices. If I right click on driver and click install, it says I can't do it that way.0 -
Anybody?
My mum leaves tomorrow and was hoping to fix this for her before she left.0
