Fitness band compatible with Iphone 4 or

I hope that somebody can help me.

My husband kindly gave me a FitBit One for Christmas. I am very grateful for it but it doesn't seem be compatible with my Ipad 2 or my iPhone 4.

Does anybody know of a fitness band or similar that is compatible with either of these two? I do have access to a MacBook Air too but I can't seem to find any apps that would be available on this to work with a fitness band.

Would very much appreciate any suggestions!

It should say on the instructions but if you look on thier site it says you need at least an iphone 4s or an ipad 3.

Thanks Ben! I really am grateful for your reply.

I did take a look at this & that is why I am thinking that the FitBit one is not a good option for me, with my existing devices.

I was wondering if there were any other fitness bands etc that might work with my existing devices before I go to the expense of upgrading.
