You lot are good with a pretty decent hit rate on the answers so far so here's a trickier one. Which of the following is not a genuine UK Green Party policy, either on their website or Euro Election manifesto:
#Allow parents 23 months pat/maternity leave per child paid at 90% of salary
#Mandate a cut in CO2 output of 80% in the next 16 years
#Disallow EU funding of certain political parties because they have beliefs the Greens dislike
#Allow children to take part in European Parliament debates
#Make Cornish people an ethnic minority
#Nationalise all utilities, trams, trains and buses
#Allow parents 23 months pat/maternity leave per child paid at 90% of salary
#Mandate a cut in CO2 output of 80% in the next 16 years
#Disallow EU funding of certain political parties because they have beliefs the Greens dislike
#Allow children to take part in European Parliament debates
#Make Cornish people an ethnic minority
#Nationalise all utilities, trams, trains and buses

# ISA's for dogs
I think it is the ISA for dogsChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
I'll guess #3 - stopping funding for parties they don't like. I don't think the EU parliament would actually have the ability to vote on such decisions anyway.0

Brilliant question, thanks Gen. Hard to choose between so many bonkers policies. As dog ISAs has already been taken, I'll have to go for making Cornish people an ethnic minority. I've chosen that a) because it has little to do with the environment and b) because in the back of my mind I recall it being discussed and thought it involved a different political party. Am hoping that it is dog ISAs though. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Nearly right.
Actually, the answer is even more barking than that.0 -
Let's hope neither the greens nor ukip hold the balance of power after the election.....I think....0

Nor the SNP.
Thankfully there's more chance of Fulham FC holding the balance of power than the Greens.
I'll post the answer this evening. I suspect that most people will think I'm making it up.0 -
Nobody's had a punt on the mat/pat leave option yet, so I'll choose that one.0

From gen's last post I assume that the correct answer is that one of the policies listed above isn't as extreme as the real policy. I reckon that means they must be planning ISAs for dogs and cats.0

I am in favour of nationalising utilities and trains but not convinced on buses and trams or the rest of the list.#Nationalise all utilities, trams, trains and buses0 -
#Mandate a cut in CO2 output of 80% in the next 16 years
On the basis that it is a 'Green' type policy (however ridiculous) and this is a trick question.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
