Putting Student Load down as income for credit card?

Hi all,
Am penultimate year medical student, and have a long international placement planned next year.
Would like a credit card for emergencies to take, as well as some extra protection for large purchases such as flights.
Am sensible with my loan and savings, and will not be using card as extra source of cash.
Is it acceptable to list my student loan as income on credit card application?
Many thanks

This came up on the credit cards board recently, and it seemed to come down to 'It depends on the bank.' So I'd check with whomever it is you bank with; I assume it's them you'd be applying to.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

Student credit cards will be your best bet, although something like the below card designed for people who don't have great credit is also worth considering. No fees for foreign purchases and 0.5% cashback.

I would class the student loan as income unless the application form clearly defines income in a way that excludes it.0
