Hi I'm currently claiming income related esa support group and DLA middle care and low mobility, and I'm wondering what is going to happen when my partner moves in with me? Will I have to make a whole new esa joint claim with my partner? (she doesn't work as she is my carer) or will I just give the dwp her name details etc.. also I have just put it a claim for carers allowance and going to tell the dwp tomorrow about my partner moving in if they are open..
I'd be grateful if someone could help me with this maybe past experience thanks

Bit confused - sorry.
Your partner is moving in with you and she is your carer?
You are putting in a claim for Carer's allowance? Do you mean your partner is putting in a claim for CA?
If so, what is she living on now if she is not working?
When your partner moves in with you she can be added to your ESA claim if she has no other income or savings. As soon as she moves in you are treated as a couple and both your incomes and savings are used in the assessment of benefits. You need to call and notify them of a change of circumstances.0
