What do I need to delete from the log to allow me to post (never had this issues previously, but this laptop is in dire straits that I am trying to sort out).

Have you run malwarebytes at all? and what do you mean by dire straits ?

It was bought second hand a few weeks ago for a young lad to play minecraft on and to day he has told me he hardly uses it as it is slow, 5 mins from boot up to getting online, hence "dire straits".

Haven't run malwarebytes- I forgot when I was round there, will get to see it again next week.

I'm not sure but there is a chance that some of the Toshiba stuff is not necessary, I would get rid of ASk too, and the Wild Tangent games are pretty much useless. I would probably remove Java too unless it is needed for minecraft.
