I never do very well in the advents despite entering what feels like thousands of competitions - this year I had one win, my first after 3 years of comping and that was a mid layer zip up ski jacket.

I can't complain though, I've had a great year, just a quiet Nov & Dec

I've had a fantastic end to the year winning the I'm a Celeb/Littlewoods comp - which I received the £1000 credit on their sale day so managed to get £1650 worth of stuff for the house with quite a few lovely wins throughout. Also won £100 credit with Motel Rocks so my teen was happy, a sports endurance pack to keep hubster happy and several other advents.

Non comp wise - sent the hubby to get milk today and he had to use his card so bought 2 £2 scratchcards, the first one I scratched won £40 and he promptly claimed it was his as he wanted to buy a new golf club......the second won 2 x £100 so he dibbed out :rotfl: :beer:

mine wasnt bad, but didnt justify the time i spent on them at the beginning lol... i spent a lot of time posting/answering questions this year so i felt quite proud that my " thanks" went over 50k mainly due to advents.....i often look at some of the " big winners" and realise they dont contribute a lot at all. I like the happy medium, well done everyone x

well i tried hard with the advents, i was not very successful! lol
however my 1 and only win in december came from the capital fm advent

i won: 4 continental tyres upto £500

so although i didnt win many of them, i did get a good 1 win
