    Appreciate I'm slightly early rounding up the month but in readiness for Monday I am declaring my August finds to be £5.01 if I find anything else before then I will alter it.

    Busy day at work coming up tommorow so I will probably see you all on the other side of the bank holiday.

    And having closed the books on August early what do I spy at Mr s this morning whilst locking up my bike but a shiny £1 coin. So I'm rolling that into September.

    41p picked up at work yesterday and 20p scooped up at the self-service checkout today.

    I found a 20p in the toilet yesterday, not actually in the toilet but the toilet floor at work. Went back in later and found a pound coin.

    It's surprising how frustrating it can be missing out on a penny!
