Can anyone with this pc please tell me what app they use to watch short clips on as windows media player doesn t work Thanks

VLC is free and plays nearly everything

Watch out for non genuine sites that have VLC downloads and bundle other crap with it.

Hi thanks I've downloaded that but there s no sound Any ideas lol. Also do I have to do anything to make it the default one when I click on the clip in the email please and for it to work straight away before it says windows media players stopped Thanks

Agreed. I use it for everything video, including DVDs

Right click on a file of the type you want to play, hold the mouse pointer over "Open with" then, in the menu that appears, go to the bottom of the list and click "Choose default program".

Make sure there's a tick in the box marked "Use this for all .mp4 files", then click "Use VLC Media Player".
