Insulation - Cheapest supplier

Can anyone help with cheap suppliers or deals (not green deal and I don't qualify for ECO scheme).

I'm insulating the ground floor (void between the floor boards and basement ceiling) and the prices are making it seem unrealistic, especially since we need 41sq meters. I'd ideally like the thickest boards but I'll consider glass wool etc.

Location if it matters is Manchester. Thanks in advance

The cheapest will be to use mineral wool suspended under your floor. The Latch superinsulation manual which can be downloaded from this page should give you some helpful ideas of how to go about it.
  • Pir board is almost twice as good as mineral wool at the same thickness so consider that into your cost.
