Firstly hope you all had a great Christmas.

Just wondering if there is anywhere on here that says which accounts allow internal transfers to cover minimum monthly payments and which have to be external.

You should check the T&Cs as it is them that determine what is needed/permitted.
  • I know Santander is external, think Lloyds, Halifax & bank of Scotland can be either, just wondering about the TSB both plus & enhance accounts thought I would set up Standing orders to cover monthly minimum payments

    No you don't. ;)

It may be funded from a personal account not in your name, ie a partner's sole Santander account. It can also be funded from a Santander business account.

What I meant is that I can not just transfer from one of my Santander accounts to another.
