Can I use body lotion on face

I will only ever use body lotion on my face if I'm out and about or I've ran out of face cream and my face feels dry! Never had a problem, but I don't have massively sensitive skin. I wouldn't use it every day, as someone said it's heavier and will probably block pores.0

In fact I'm going to start using my own body
