hi all, looking forward to a late night ? lol
has anyone been to both the north wales haven sites ie hafen y mor and greenacres. any advice please which is better for teenagers. thanks

Hi nipper, I went to Hafan y mor last year, a good site and can get to snowdonia railways easily.

Be careful with accomodation, we were given keys to a block of chalets that could have easily been designed on Stalag 17.

The chalet smelt damp, with small windows which made it depressing, we complained and had an upgrade free, had we not the upgrade we would have come back home and forfeited the holiday.

Other than that we had a great time, food on site in the restuarants were good and reasonable.

One more thing the site is next to a sewrage plant which you have to pass to get to the beach which is not that clean either.

You can try(I know I'm going to lol) but it's a gamble as once you book one Caravan there's no guarantee another will be available on the same date and site.
This is what the Sun recommends.

You will need an application form for each accommodation required (e.g. 2 application forms for 2 families).
You will also need a set of newspaper tokens for each application form.
Complete one application form for each individual party/family.
YOU MUST SELECT THE SAME PARK AND DATE CHOICES ON ALL FORMS.
Staple all the forms together. Attach a covering letter explaining that you all want to go together.
Attach the payment and send all the forms and payment IN ONE ENVELOPE.
Whilst we do try to accommodate all ‘group’ parties together, due to the high volume of applications, we cannot always guarantee you will be placed together.
Terms and conditions #6 “We cannot guarantee multiple applications will be similarly processed”.

Thank you, fingers crossed it works!

Hey All, I've updated last year's Excel Cracker program and I have added in this year's 14 and 64 plates, but I've put them separately at the end as it would have been loads of work to add them all into the existing plates

can someone confirm this is working to download?

    cheers
    Mr D

well if we have no luck by midnight then I think I may have a little drive down to Brick Lane, get a big fat salt beef sandwich with yummy pickles, a few slices of cheesecake and perhaps just perhaps the street vendors might have the first editions of the paper out .....

Love the brick lane salt beef sandwich bar right at the end of the street yum what a wedge they put in I normally get a plain bagel and make 2

    May see you there lol
Where are the street vendors all I see is drug addicts and prostitution

    Hi Nipper123

I've been to Greenacres which is next to Blackrock beach, you can drive onto the beach for a small charge ? £5. The park is ok and we had a lot of fun there. Not much to do for teenagers apart from the usual machines and hanging out. Entertainment was fine.
Portmerion is close by , as is the Festiniog Railway , Llama trekking.

Hafan Y mor is nice too, the beach is not nice , it's an old Butlins, We had requested a caravan and upgrade near amenities due to disability which was nice , Again not much to do, usual machines and hanging out. Entertainment was fine. There was a funland nearby and I don't remember much else

Both of these places are not near to an A&E so emergencies are helicoptered out if serious. My Child was ill , we had to see an emergency Dr 10 miles away which is fine if you drive.

    We preferred greenacres. :)
