O/S Daily Thursday 25th December 2014
This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” is fine

Morning all,
Just a quick one to wish you all a very lovely day, still waiting for dd to get up here !! So OH and I are having a cuppa first.
The turkey roll is in the sc, it came on about 4 this morning, so the house smells lovely, I will cook it for the last hour or so in the oven to crisp it up, its lovely and tender that way.
Anyway have great days all and hope you get some nice presents and a small time to sit

I hope everyone has the best day they can and hugs to anyone feeling sad for whatever reason.
Just found out we are 2 down for Christmas dinner,DBs stepdaughter,partner and possibly little boy, as his Mummy and Daddy have been struck down with the Winter V bug. DB2 & family are still coming and they may bring him,depends on how rough his parents feel:(
Everything is prepared,though we might have a lot of leftovers.Not heard from DS2 yet,he's at his DP parents and they are going to a hotel for their dinner but they are coming later and staying the night so hope DGS sleeps for once,I'll probably be kn****red.They'll pick DGD up in the morning and she can have her pressies from us.
Going to make myself a bit more presentable (blooming face time ) and then get the turkey crown in.

Just popping in to wish all the lovely ladies and lurkers a very Merry Christmas. I have had 2 hours sleep and surviving on Bailey's coffee and adrenaline:D:D. It's all going well here, pressies are unwrapped and oohed and aahed over, the turkey is nearly ready to come out of the oven and rest for half an hour, and the grandchildren have been and gone with their gifts. I'm planning to eat my dinner and then snooze through the afternoon film. Hope everyone has a wonderful day, loads of love xxxxxxx 0 -
Afternoon All. I swear blind I posted this morning, but seems to have disappeared. Done the trip to the Grat Niece & Nephews, opened presents while drinking Cava, dinner being prepared by DS & DDIL, I've been banished, DH has set the table, so having another glass of Cava, may even have a quick snooze.
