I'm in the Peak District rose, similar weather I guess to Scotland (or parts of it!). Been a bad couple of weeks, and not above freezing for days. The ice is so treacherous!

The search is driving me mad on the comps board - want to post some more comps but I can't get it to work. Grr.

    too many comps..not enough time!

The search is dreadful just now chick. I find if I refresh after it shows the wait 15 secs message it usually works although sometimes have to check again

We got snow again last night which is now turning to ice. I agree with you there chickaroonie, can't wait for spring to arrive.

Hope your hill isn't too slippy tomorrow fire**fly when you go for your mags etc. Thanks for the Buddha, gave him a good belly rub ;)

I used to bathe my kids eyes with warm milk kitten when they had conjunctivitis (or sticky eyes) and that used to help xx

That was quick sending your amazon voucher sheils :) Well done on the head & shoulders too!

Lucky for your son Rose having pies made for him! I love home made stuff but I'm not that good at baking myself. :o

So annoyed with DD1 's school. They still haven't got back to me over the incident where the boys tried to set DD's hair on fire. I wish I had called the police instead of going through the school as they've ignored my calls and refuse to get back in touch. She now tries to get out of going to school. I've just received the letter too confirming her ASD diagnosis.

I have to go to opticians tomorrow. I was due a contact lens check & eye test in dec so they haven't sent my lenses out so now I've run out so have to go tomorrow afternoon! It's sons bday tomorrow too and we are supposed to be going out for tea after school so hope I'm not too long. Hope they don't put the dye in my eyes too!

gosh that sounds awful about your daughter wingo, how old is she? Maybe you could still go to the police?

The ice here is incredible. It's so deep in places it's going to take weeks to go. I hate it! Don't mind snow so much but urgh the cold is driving me bonkers. I feel so bad for the older folk who are pretty much housebound/.

It's chucking it down here now so looks like roads will definitely be icy tomorrow!
My DD's 15 now chickaroonee. She has only just been diagnosed with autism after yrs of testing for various things so she is vulnerable and a target for bullies. If she wasn't this age I would have taken her out of mainstream ages ago but I will certainly be going in to see the head teacher about it all.

Wingo I would insist in an appointment and threaten to go to police if nothing is done. These kids should be excluded until their parents brought in.
