No wins for me in January. Can't complain as I did well in 2014.
fire**fly rubbed the Buddha so hope he brings me some comping luck.
I had a leak in my kitchen, water was coming out from under the washing machine, started to get worse the last few days. Of course I was attempting to fix it myself. Watched Youtube for ideas what it could be causing it,decided it was too big a job for me. Plumber came tonight, in few seconds he discovered the cause, the hose from under the sink to the washing machine had come loose! Two turns and it was fixed.
We have snow here as well, seems very cold today, must be more snow on the way.
Does anyone do Instagram comps, I did my first a few weeks ago but I would need to work on it as I am not entirely sure how it works.

hi all. Sick of the cold here - it was-7 on the school run today! The snow will never melt at this rate. I hate it!! Cannot wait for spring.

everything frozen over outside so didn't
spend much time out,
just quickly filled the feeders & put nuts in the houses
for them,
too cold to be messing about :eek:

Feeling cold here this morning but think it might be because my onesie is in wash and I have dressing gown on instead.
Had a message from DS1 and he has won tickets for a gig on a floating island in Sydney harbour!


Hope you got things sorted out with DD Kitten. Not sure if nursery would be too pleased if you sent her before she started treatment.


Hope hill not to slippy this morning FF.


Steak pie my speciality too rose although my creamy paprika smoked salmon with tagliatelle is another. Great you love cooking.


Glad you got leak fixed Dreams. Haven't tried Instagram yet - not enough time for ordinary comps!

Morning peeps been busy cooking. Freezing here no snow thankfully. Have decided to make some chicken pies with spare chicken thighs that have not gone in soup so no doubt son will be asking for these in future.Shiels paprika smoked salmon sounds yummy right up my street. Sister does some good pasta dishes she had an Italian neighbour a while back that taught both her and I how to make basic sauces for different pasta dishes and the mantra was use basic ingredients and reduce on hob or cook very quickly and mix. Your salmon sounds a quick one

Morning, It's snowing here at the moment. Not really laying and forecast says we have rain coming in so should clear pretty quickly.I have today off so going to do a tip run which is 5 mins away and then do a little painting. Hope you all have a lucky day.
